In Japanese calligraphy, the enso is an ink painting representing a circle made of a single line. It expresses the endless cycle of life: „circle of life, circle of infinity, circle of
simplicity, circle of beginning". This circular brush stroke is not completely closed. There is always a slight opening left by the brushstroke, symbolising the opening of the mind.
Three duos work on the meeting of these two bodies in a calligraphic space on the floor, a dancer with a disability on the circle and a professional dancer as a fixed point and then the other way round, and finally two dancers with a disability in a duo. The particularity of Enso is that it is not closed; it therefore leaves the possibility of a space for meeting, contact and penetration of the external and internal worlds. By taking inspiration from the Enso, I want to work on a choreographic writing like a calligraphy, simple and uncluttered, powerful and direct, physical and abstract. The aesthetic of the piece is also impregnated with it, refined and delicate. At the end of this journey, to deduce the true centre, the true meaning, which is never limited to oneself but to the meeting of two bodies, two individualities, two points of view/life. The human path is imperfect: that is why the Enso is an open circle.
The middle ground is a permanent movement around a centre to be sought, a centre to be sought in one's body at the heart of the encounter.
In 2001, the association dansehabile was founded by Marc Berthon and Nathalie Tacchella with the aim of promoting an innovative practice of dance and offering training and creative activities, allowing reciprocal integration and exchanges between dancers with and without disabilities.
The specificity of the association is the mix of people with mental, physical and sensory disabilities, with amateurs and professionals of dance, theatre and music.
This educational and artistic structure, a pioneer in French-speaking Switzerland, offers a new form of integration through the creative act and movement.
With the support of canton Geneva. Dansehabile is a non-profit association, declared of public utility.

PERSONA GRATA is a deeply human performance that questions the evolution of a group of people confronted with the arrival of newcomers. On a restaurant terrace, the dancers playfully immerse
themselves in the skin of the guests. Each of them observed and integrated the gestures of their character and then let them become abstract danced movements. The encounters between these
different personalities and their respective movement qualities are the basis for the creation of the choreography.
The PERSONA GRATA project aims to show the differences between dancers aged 6 to 76. Everyone brings a personal touch to the picture and enriches the performance with their own life experience in movement.
Most of the dancers had never danced together before and a great curiosity as well as a subtle quality of listening enabled them to create this performance. For 7 months they improvised, fantasised and danced together to present a choreography in which everyone plays an important role.
The pianist on stage also plays a role and is an integral part of the dance theatre performance.

The piece depicts the mythical figure of Queen Ishtar and her followers as she descends into the underworld. The work explores themes of materialism, loss of soul, and both physical and emotional
struggle in an attempt to regain oneself. The queen adorned with ornaments and garments removes them at each of the seven gates to enter the underworld until she is naked at the gate of Hades, a
choice without return.
Laban translates these ideas into archetypes and dream symbols. He describes how Ishtar does not throw away the ornaments and worldly clothes but, the crown of pride, the cloak of hypocrisy, the sceptre of violence, the necklace of vanity, the veil of egoism, the belt of cowardice, ends up purified by a noble dance.
The new interpretation of Rudolph Laban's dance work „ISHTAR'S JOURNEY INTO HADES" from 1914 was realised and financially supported as part of the project „kulturerbe, tanz!". The 2nd edition of the festival kulturerbe, tanz! will take place in April and June 2022 in two theatres: THEATRE LA POSTE / Visp and DAMPFZENTRALE / Bern www.kulturerbetanz.ch
„QUANTIC MOVEMENT YOUTH COLLECTIVE" is a project born in 2018 with the aim of giving young artists/and non-professionals access to the world of live performance and to perform concretely on stage, in collaboration with established choreographers on the Swiss and international scene. The project allows young artists to immerse themselves in the creation of new dance pieces through a professional approach.

In „InTension", 19 dancers immerse themselves in the theme of tensegrity. They deal with a system in which solid parts are connected to each other in tension equilibrium through elastic pulls.
The dancers reveal normally hidden features and move increasingly complex systems in the course of the short piece. In the process, the live soundtrack, created exclusively from two voices,
initiates, carries and ends the tensegrity. The contrasting interplay between movement, music and space allows for a multi-dimensional experience of "InTension".
For her short piece „InTension", Bernese choreographer Lisa Lareida works with people who explore, create and narrate life through movement. The group consists of 17 women and three men, including seven professional dancers and two musicians.
